Candy swap: the results

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Swaps

Awhile back I signed up for a candy swap hosted by Scattered Mom.

Each person was to send $8 – $10 worth of candy to their swap partner. I decided to take the purist route and send mostly chocolate, brands that (I think) are only available in Canada. My partner was Renee.

This is what I sent:

Candy sent

I’m particularly proud of that maple-filled Caramilk bar (there ain’t nuttin’ more Canadian than THAT eh!) but I personally think the Mack toffee was an equally Canadian choice. I hope my recipient knows how to Smack the Mack. Do you think she’ll be able to figure that out? Or will she pull her teeth out trying to chew through it? Only time will tell.

Okay. So here’s what I received [click to enlarge]:

candy received!

Yes. Those are blue peeps. Yes. Those are chocolate bandaids. Yes. My children are salivating as I type this. My package contained a lot of fun candies, so much, in fact, that I will be eating candy for months to come. Don’t worry. I don’t mind. :)

Thank you Renee, for the thoughtful (and yummy!) package!

Yummy! I’m glad you had fun :)

Hey I’m having a contest over at Notes From the Cookie Jar that has to do with Earth Day/Recycling. Pop over and take a look! :)

Thank you so much for the great candy, I hope I don’t lose any teeth! There were some great surprises in there that I haven’t heard of before so thank you so much!
