Admiring:

Posted by andrea tomkins in: My media (sideblog archive)

A Collection a Day: a blog documenting a project that will span exactly one year.

I love collections, and I love looking at other people’s collections. This has inspired me to do undertake a series of blog posts about some of our collections here at Casa Fishbowl. I’m curious… what do you collect?

Paper, apparently. ;) Some days I feel like I get a handle on sorting/recycling/getting rid of/filing everything and the next day it’s like the gremlins have snuck some back in to random spots all over the house. Grrrr.

Crows.
Oh, and I used to collect beach sand from around the world. Until I realized how pitiful it was that I never went to any of these beaches; I always just asked other people to bring it back for me from their trips. Kind of like I was collecting memories for other people. I still have the sand in little labeled jars in a big box. Someday I will empty all the jars into one big one & hand it back to the people who gave me the sand in the first place.
