My Whole 30 menu

I’m doing the Whole 30 and tracking my food on this page as I go. Scroll to the bottom for the most recent meal.

March 1
Banger sausage patties, fried egg, strawberries, grapes, espresso
Earl grey tea
Smoked salmon “sushi” with mixed baby greens and cucumber spears
Pulled pork and coleslaw, with roasted sweet potato slices

March 2
Banger sausage patties, scrambled eggs, strawberries, tea
Leftover pulled pork and coleslaw, with roasted sweet potato slices
Salmon patties and veggie bowl with “sunshine sauce” from the Whole 30 book (it’s a nutty dressing and dip)
Mint tea

March 3
Banana slices with almond butter
Pulled pork topped with salsa and fried egg
Salmon patties, boiled potato, roasted asparagus, green salad (oil and vinegar dressing), raw carrots & radishes

March 4
Avocado toast (guacamole on sliced sweet potato!), tomato slices, espresso
Pulled pork with fried egg and sauteed sweet potato cubes with onion, tomato slices
Chicken breast, green salad with lemon/garlic dressing, asparagus, strawberries
Coconut shrimp with Pineapple-Chili Sauce. Grapes.

March 5
Pulled pork with fried egg, grapefruit, espresso
Big bowl: Spiralized zucchini tossed with a handful of coleslaw mix, bean sprouts, chicken breast and “sunshine sauce” … topped with a dab of guacamole, cilantro, cashews. (YUM.)
Salmon patties with Pineapple-Chili Sauce, sauteed potato with shallot and bacon, roasted carrot, pineapple

March 6
Sliced apple with cinnamon, two eggs, espresso
Boring Bowl of Fried Leftovers: minced pork, diced sweet potato, carrot, cabbage. Grapes.
Handful of unsalted cashews
Walnut-crusted pork tenderloin, Garlic-roasted broccoli

March 7
Leftover potatoes, two eggs, espresso
Big bowl: Spiralized zucchini tossed with a handful of coleslaw mix, bean sprouts, chicken breast and “sunshine sauce”
Jerk chicken with mango/avocado salad, cucumber

March 8
Banana, espresso
Black coffee, egg-based quiche, fruit cup
Handful of dried apricots
Leftover jerk chicken and mango/avocado salad, cucumber
Grilled salmon with avocado, kale “Caesar”
Handful of mixed nuts

March 9
Scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, strawberries
Leftover grilled salmon with avocado and romaine
Oven-baked chicken thighs with BBQ-type seasoning, coleslaw, cubed sweet potato, broccoli.

March 10
Espresso, bacon and eggs, avocado
Handful of mixed nuts and dried apricots
Sausage and raw veggies, Whole 30-recipe ranch dip/dressing (YUM!)
Banana slices with almond butter
Ribs, roasted potatoes, coleslaw, tomato slices

March 11
Egg, fried sweet potato cubes, avocado & tomato salad, blueberries, espresso
Leftover salmon, avocado, coleslaw with Whole 30-recipe ranch dressing. Pear.
Roast chicken, green beans, boiled potatoes
Banana slices with almond butter

March 12
Espresso, leftover ribs, egg, 1/2 grapefruit
Spiralized squash with leftover sausage
Chopped avocado with salsa
Pork chops with cooked apple, spiralized squash, roasted Brussels sprouts/red onion/baby potato/bacon

March 13
Espresso, 1/2 grapefruit, egg, cubed sweet potato, chicken
Chicken, leftover roasted Brussels sprouts/red onion/baby potato/bacon
Banana slices with almond butter
Whole-30 recipe grilled shrimp (YUM) with spiralized squash/cabbage mix, roasted Brussels sprouts
Celery and dip

March 14
Espresso, sweet potato “toasts”: one topped with egg, bacon and fried shallot bits, the other topped with avocado, bacon, fried shallot bits. (SO.GOOD.)
Leftover grilled shrimp on coleslaw
Celery with sunflower seed butter
Grilled chicken thighs (with this marinade), roasted red cabbage, kale caesar
Mixed fresh berries (blueberry and raspberry)

March 15  – HALFWAY done!
Espresso, poached eggs and veg (asparagus, sweet potato, mushrooms)
Leftover grilled chicken, roasted red cabbage, kale caesar. Banana.
“Apple pie” (microwaved apple with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a handful of pecans.)
Grilled salmon, giant raw veggie salad with “Asian” inspired dressing
Celery with sunflower seed butter

March 16
Espresso, poached eggs and veg (asparagus, sweet potato, mushrooms), handful of raspberries
Leftover grilled salmon, veggie salad
Banana slices with sunflower seed butter
Whole 30 recipe pork chops with spiced apples (a keeper for sure!),  baby potatoes, sauteed broccoli, handful of raspberries
Bowl of strawberries and raspberries

March 17
Espresso, poached eggs, bacon, sweet potato slices, strawberries
Grilled salmon, raw veggie salad
Pork chop with spiced apple, roasted cabbage, raw veggie salad. Strawberries.

March 18
I accidentally deleted part of this day!
Dinner: roast chicken “Caesar” salad.

March 19
Espresso, poached eggs, asparagus, raspberries
On-the-road lunch: Sausage, chopped veggie salad, egg, apple
On-the-road dinner: Sausage, diced sweet potatoes, egg, orange
Pistachios. Pear.

March 20
Boiled egg. Banana and almond butter, espresso.
Two-egg omelet with mushrooms, spinach, onion, asparagus, bacon. Orange.
Tea. Handful of mixed nuts. Pear.
Pork roast, potatoes, diced sweet potato, roasted cauliflower & red onion, baby spinach. Mandarin.

March 21 
Espresso, fried egg, sausage patty, asparagus & baby spinach, strawberries.
Roast pork, roasted spicy cauliflower, “Caesar” salad. Mandarins x2
Tea. Handful of mixed nuts.
Chicken burger with “ranch” sauce and red onion, baby spinach, red cabbage, diced sweet potato, avocado

March 22
Espresso, scrambled eggs, sausage patty, avocado, strawberries
Spicy Asian-style zoodles (based on this recipe!), roast pork, strawberries
Chicken burger, sauteed carrots and broccoli. Mandarin x 2.
Mint tea

March 23
Espresso, poached eggs, bacon, potato
Spicy Asian-style zoodles (based on this recipe!), chicken, grapes.
Handful of nuts
Seasoned turkey breast, mixed vegetables. Banana with almond butter.

March 24
Fried eggs, 1/2 avocado, roast pork, grapefruit, espresso
Mixed veg salad with chicken and sausage
1/2 orange
Spicy shrimp lettuce wraps (shrimp, guacamole, salsa, cilantro, red onion), red cabbage slaw (from this recipe). Mandarin.

March 25
Poached eggs, bacon, tomato, espresso
Turkey breast, red cabbage slaw, potato
Whole 30 recipe pork chop with spiced apples, red cabbage, roasted sweet potato, sauteed carrot.
Canned peaches

March 26
Espresso. Roasted sweet potato, poached eggs, tomato
Grilled shrimp, red cabbage slaw, lettuce, grapes, apple
Roast chicken, garlic broccoli, squash, grapes
Sliced peaches and strawberries. Raw coconut.

March 27
Poached eggs, roasted sweet potato with salsa and cilantro, bacon. Espresso.
Leftover pork chop with spiced apple, broccoli/squash mix
Pork meatballs (loosely based on this recipe), cauliflower rice/veg stir fry, romaine
Handful of nuts & dried apricots
Fruit salad

March 28
Poached eggs, roast sweet potato. Espresso.
Fry up of Brussels sprouts, shallots, potato, bacon
Pineapple chicken and cauliflower rice (a bummer – I did not like this recipe)
Banana with almond butter, pistachios, dried apricots

March 29
Espresso, grapefruit
Fried egg, chicken, spinach, grapes
Spiralized zucchini, chicken breast, red pepper, cilantro, and “sunshine sauce”
Pulled pork and coleslaw, topped with red pepper, tomato, cilantro, avocado. Pineapple.

March 30
Espresso. Egg, roast sweet potato, pulled pork, grapes.
Pulled pork (yes, again!), diced tomato, coleslaw with whole30 mayo/cilantro/lime dressing, banana.
Grapes. Banana.
Ham, potato, spinach & blueberry salad.
