Weekend craftiness

Posted by andrea in: File under crafty|Photography

The other day I emailed Mary (my MIL) a post from Craftster.org. But I didn’t think that on Sunday she’d take me fabric shopping and then help me make it make it for me.

I had an incredibly hard time picking fabric. I could have spent all day in there, and then walked out with enough for 50 different bags.

Here is the project prototype. Bag number one of three different ones that will eventually be made. I love this size. It’s big enough to carry the basics: my long wallet, keys, notebook, pen, lipgloss, sunglasses.

What do you think? :)

I should add that Mary is a saint. I’m sure she thought I was a total nut, walking around the store with one bolt of fabric only to switch it for another… oh, say about 30 times.

The variations are endless. It is mind-boggling. Must get my own sewing maching STAT. (That, plus a copy of “Sewing for Dummies.”)

From the photos you’ve posted before, it looks like it completely fits your style. I love the black with chalk flowers :)
