Here’s a tip for all of you ladies

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Misc. life

1) Don’t go too long between haircuts.

2) When you do finally get a haircut, don’t get it the day before a huge meeting with a client.*

* Yes, I got my hair cut yesterday. And yes, I’m just about to head out for a huge meeting with a client. *sigh* I like the haircut, but unfortunately it still has that “just cut” look. I just looked at myself in the mirror just now, and for some reason the first thought that popped in my head was the word “borg.”

Please ! You look beautiful with that haircut. Apparently you weren’t paying attention when watching Star Trek. The Borg have no hair.

I just found your blog and wanted to say that I love your “Effervescent writer seeks publishing adventure” descriptor.

I’m sure the haircut looks great. If your meeting is with a man, they probably won’t notice. If it’s with a woman, they’ll probably think, “it’s really time for me to get a haircut.”

That one borg was pretty hot, what was her name? Seven of Nine or something. :)

I need one too, but I hate that week or two of looking like it was just cut. Guess I need to suck it up and get it done. I don’t think I have any meetings scheduled so I should be good.

Aw come on, you’ve got to show us! :) I’m sure it looks great – you’ll be provoking hair jealousy all over the place!

I promise to show you. But only after I get it coloured next week. That way you get to see the whole package. :)

Post-shower update: I doubt I will ever be able to recreate this hairstyle as orginally intended. … No matter how long I spend with that dang (new) straightening iron. Bah.
