The reason for the season

Posted by andrea in: Misc. life

Some of you may remember last fall, when we went to my mom’s place to rake her leaves. You may have thought I was joking when I referred to her place as a forest in which the aforementioned raking was being done.

Well, this is where we raked…. for most of yesterday.
[EDIT for clarification: MARK did an awful lot of work, whereas I just stood around the fire, posing with a rake, and *pretending* I was raking.]

  • Pic one
  • Pic two – note the size of the trees compared to the wee people below. Big trees = lots of leaves.

Wow, that truly is a pile of leaves. The first words out of my mouth really were, “Holy crap, that’s a lot of leaves.” Good raking!

    Um. Mark. :)
