healthy eating, healthy living

Posted by andrea in: Recipes and Food

I’ve been trying to eat well. Well, more than trying. I’ve RESOLVED to eat well. So there’s been a lot of this in my life lately:

Leafy greens, tomatoes, red onion sauteed with a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and goat cheese on top. Yum.

There was an interesting discussion on AskMetafilter the other day that kinda stuck with me. The original poster asked people to help him find ways to make major lifestyle changes and get healthy. Here’s one of the best answers.

Food for the mind, isn’t it?

I’ve cut out a bunch of things (and added a bunch) until I can whittle away a bit of accumulated flab.

The weight hasn’t really registered on the scale yet. But so far so good. My pants don’t seem quite so snug.
