I think you and I are in the same ‘place’ mentally…decluttering, exercising, are we ‘spring (fall) cleaning’ ourselves and our surroundings or what?

My girls are 4 and 2 and sadly I haven’t been able to convince them that donating the clothing and toys they have outgrown is a positive thing to do so I do most of their donating when they aren’t around or asleep.

I don’t want them to turn out like me…I find it really difficult to purge.

Oh and my girls are into Polly Pockets too, even the 2 year old. We’ve inherited alot of old Pollys, some new, and it seems the current craze is ‘Mini’ Pollys which are insanely small. The kids know that I’m serious about vacuuming up any Polly they don’t pick up…and when I do, I don’t feel the least bit guilty.

hey, if you want somewhere to donate the kitchen stuff, we might be able to use it in the daycare co-op.

oh, and good for you for purging. I am gearing up for a big clothing purge soon. NOTHING fits me properly (post-pregnancy) and I just need to get it out of here. First I have to get some stuff to wear though.

We purged a ton of stuff before G was born – cleaned out the basement of a ton of crap that was left over from the merging of our two households. I still have a ton to do – mostly paper.

Have you been to our HOUSE? OMG the toy buildup and clutter is unreal here. And my young lad knows everyt oy in the house. Ihave to go through and get rid of all the old broken toys that he wants us to fix…not like he doesn’t have things to replce it with. It’s just not the same mommy.

ANd I have 17 years of Miranda buildup too.
