Thursday, almost Friday

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Photography

I can almost pinpoint the exact moment I got sick. We were in the car, on our way home from my mother’s place … where Mark built a giant compost heap this weekend:

… and the girls did a lot of this:

wee toad

garter snake

Me: I sawed a lot of wood (you didn’t think I could do that, did you?) and when I wasn’t busy raking or sawing I just poked around:

Marmora sky

Trilliums

I have been shlumping around the house with barely enough energy to do much of anything this week. I have a ton of things to do today. I’m being flown to T.O. on Friday on a weekend-long bloggy/media junket (more about that later) and I just realized I need to do laundry. Send me some energy, stat!

Love the pics of the girls…now that is CHILDHOOD at it’s best don’t you think???

Sorry you are sick, if I had some spare energy to share I would….I will send some positive thoughts hope that’s enough.

Great photos. Mark’s compost heap reminds me of the one we built when we lived in Winnipeg. My Parent’s lot was huge and full of trees, We had a heap like that and I remember wanting to cry the day after raking to see a whole lawn full again. It was brutal.

Have fun on your Bloggy/Media junket, hope you get some energy for it.
