I finally invested in some nice skates a few years back. result- I still don’t enjoy skating. it still hurts. nothing compares to the amazing feeling of taking one’s skates off. I wish I enjoyed it.. used to as a kid. but now, it is slow torture. not even worth it for the Beaver Tail. well…maybe.

I have pretty much those exact same skates, in exactly the same condition. I keep saying I’m going to buy new ones, but I only skate once or twice a season, so it never seems worth it. I feel so un-Canadian :).
