Swear, very loudly, to no one in particular. Call my husband at work. And panic.

Feel overjoyed. But don’t tell my husband that :).

Then I’d immediately start canvassing contractors to come and put a fifth bedroom in the house.

Mark just (jokingly) telephoned to ask me if I’m pregnant. Just make it perfectly clear, I’m not pregnant. :)

be very upset seeing as my husband just got laid off and we are already stressed out enough as it is. Eventually I would come around to the idea, but the news would be less welcome then my previous pregnancies.

Oh, and judging from past pregnancies, I would probably also throw up. A lot.

When you’re done, you’re done, and I’m definitely done making babies.

…cry. Your post kind of freaks me out because I am worried that I might be because…you know…I have no indication that I am not. And if I was I would have twin boys and a new baby all under the age of one for a few months and that SCARES.ME.CRAZY.

But then, I would hope it was a girl. :)

Hmmm. At first be excited but then be worried about John’s reaction. And then freak out a bit. And then be excited again. And then repeat from the beginning.

I’d be happy that trying to time this third baby was out of my hands, but then I would stress because we’d love to NOT be in a 2 bedroom apartment come baby number 3…also I’d love to actually PLAN a child…that has yet to work for us!

If I was to find out, this very minute, that I was pregnant, I wouldn’t know what to think. I’m pretty sure I’d feel scared, shocked, sad, worried, and overwhelmed. I think I would feel a tiny bit of dread too considering I vomited for 35 weeks with each of my girls!!! Oh and I would likely be ticked off that Bert took so long to finally agree to schedule is vasectomy (it’s happening in Feb!!!). Then I think I would feel that it’s meant to be and deal with it…we always wanted three before we had two!

have a lot of explaining to do to my husband who has had a vasectomy and, just to make it more interesting, has just returned from 3.5 months in Afghanistan. But if it could be his through the mysteries of modern medicine, I would be looking forward to nursing the baby-to-be. I miss that part of my life.
