Andrea’s wish list

Posted by andrea in: Oh! Things!

I thought it might be wise to jot down a few ideas for Christmas. For me. You know, in case Santa is reading.

  • Pj’s – form fitting short sleeve top and low rise bottoms in light flannel (something like this). I so need a new mid-weight housecoat too.
  • A pen with a light. You have no idea how much use I would get out of this little gifty. Many times a great idea has strikes in the moments after the light has gone out. I need to be able to write in the dark!
  • A furry hot water bottle. What can I say, I have cold feet. And I don’t like the feel of the treads of the old rubber one. It makes me feel like I’m sleeping with a tire. (No, I’m not referring to my hubby.) *wink*
  • Stationary/funky notecards and other paper ephemera. I have a soft soft spot for papers of asian origin that I use for crafty purposes.
  • Stamps. Postage and otherwise.
  • Books books books… oh, do I have a list of books. This deserves its own category. Perhaps I will tap it out another day.
  • Luxury socks. I am one of those people who likes getting socks for Christmas, but they can’t be ordinary socks. They have to be *good* socks. Mary bought me three pairs of wonderful thick warm socks from the Gap last year. I think they’re a cashmere/wool blend. They are happy colours. Who wouldn’t be thrilled to get socks like these?
  • While we’re talking about feet, a lovely pedicure-type toe scrub would be lovely.
  • This may be too large and awkward for Santa to stuff down our chimney, but I would love a light-reflecting umbrella/light for studio-type photography.
  • fine scissors for papercutting

I will add to this list as I get more ideas.

*Note to Santa: there may be conflicting reports saying otherwise, but I *have* been a good girl this year. Cross my heart. :)
