1) Spend 30 minutes blowing up large kiddie pool.
2) Deadhead your peonies.
3) Fill up kiddy pool with water.
4) Make a petal trail from outside the gate leading to the pool.
5) Scatter petals in the water.
6) Add kids.
7) Make strawberry banana milkshakes for immediate consumption.
and then
8) Suppress annoyance when they lose interest 15 minutes later.
Oh well. They enjoyed it while they enjoyed it.
