This week’s craft over at Canadian Family Magazine isn’t really a craft, it’s a fun activity… one that happens to result in your kids (maybe, hopefully, GOD WILLING) eating broccoli. You heard me right. BROCCOLI.

are they ready to eat at the size in your picture? Do you pull them up by the roots or snip off and let them grow more/again? I’ve never grown sprouts, but the kids like eating mint straight off the plant so maybe they’d eat these.

Neat idea and a nice way to spring into spring. But the poor broccoli, gets such a bum rap :( but interestingly broccoli is vegetable queen in our house, kids love love love it, even the 10 month old.
