De-lurking day?

Posted by andrea in: Misc. life

Shoot. I missed De-lurking day … (as described here). Why couldn’t it have been de-lurking week? :)

re: the whole comments thing.
I tell myself that I don’t do this for the fame and fortune, I don’t do it for the glory or to get a big pat on the back … for the most part I do it for myself. I do however, understand a blogger’s desire to see feedback to their postings. It’s a payoff of sorts. A validation.

I am glad to know you’re all out there. And I know you are, even though you are a quiet bunch. *wags finger*

Howdy!
I’m not sure if this feedback gets posted, but because I am guilty of frequent de-lurking (because I love to read about what you’re up to) I thought I’d send you a note. All is well here, Jake and I celebrate our 6th anniversary today. We’re going for Mexican I think. What else? I will officially start rewriting my novel next week. I’ve almost finished all the character profiles and scenes so that’s a bit of a triumph and we’re shopping for a new couch. Who knew swatches of fabric could cause so much anxiety.
Love you,
Jane

de-lurking after the fact… what’s a lurker to do?

i really enjoyed reading about the idea – – and i do try & comment on blogs i read, when they resonate particularly, but then i sometimes feel like i am blowing my own horn. but you need to know how you inspire others in your work… i send you my respect, and i wish you courage for 2005
