and now back to your regularly scheduled program

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Photography|Recipes and Food

We had breakfast at Kristy’s this morning. We hadn’t been in a long time, which is a shame because (a) I love diner-style breakfasts and (b) the service is wonderful (c) they are very kid-friendly* and (d) and the coffee is plentiful. In fact, I had three cups. Yikes! I will be jittery for the rest of the day. Ah well.

* “Is this a fancy restaurant?” asked Sarah.
“No it isn’t,”answered Emma. “You can tell because they give you crayons.”

I think that observation is right on the money, don’t you? :)
