Despite my spasm of anxiety yesterday morning I managed to get everything done, although as I write this I realize that I’m using the word “everything” really loosely. I didn’t, for example, get a load of laundry washed, dried, and put away. Nor did I manage to scrub the toilets. But the immediate and most important things got done.
- I took a shower.
- I made sure my children are fed and watered, and picked up from school
- I completed the APW (Actual Paid Work) I needed to do
- I cleaned the kitchen. I never actually stop cleaning the kitchen, so this is hardly worth mentioning.
- The three of us walked to the post office (one egg cosy left to mail!)
- We spent a few moments admiring the work of an artist airbrushing an outdoor mural.
- We purchased local baked goods
- The girls stood underneath a crabapple tree while I shook petals down on their heads.
- I prepped two envelopes for mailing ATCs.
- I did some sketching while watching the news.
Today: Dani and I are participating in a “lunch n’ learn” about blogging for Export Development Canada. :)
TGIF.
This weekend, I’m getting out the mortar and cranking out some garden art. AND buying a certain area rug. But more on that later. :)
