thinking

Posted by andrea in: Misc. life

Sometimes I jot things down in my notebook to remind me about something I want to write about. This is today’s:

motherhood = multitasking

And ain’t it the truth? Being a parent has prepared me for the real world in amazing ways. Comforting a child while writing a cheque, picking up toys with my feet while I talk on the phone, pouring a glass of milk while repotting a plant… little did I know that all these things I did was in fact TRAINING.

Yesterday, while getting ready for an interview, I brushed my teeth and painted my toenails at the same time. And I did it without dripping toothpaste on my black skirt or spilling nailpolish on the floor.

I am so talented.
