Build-a-Bear

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Photography

Self-explanatory shot

Some of you might be familiar with this concept.

You go in, pick a plush critter, help stuff it, and then pick out clothing and accessories. It’s sheer crazyness. I uploaded pics to Flickr.

Thank you to Mary, my MIL, for taking them to Build-a-Bear. They loved it, and they’re still talking about it.

Thank goodness for grandparents! That’s all I have to say. :)

I had no idea there was a BAB in Ottawa! Where is it at? I think I can take out a second mortgage and bring the kids at some point.

My nieces each did this at Bayshore for their birthdays…they LOVED it. Their puppy/bear are actually very adorable.

The pics are too adorable.

OMG – how timely. We’re set to do the annual b-a-b thing this weekend for dd’s birthday!

PS: Once you get on the mailing list, they even send you $5 off for your bday.

I’ve always wanted to do this and I was thinking if you were young and dating wouldn’t this make a great DATE thing. The guy takes the girl to make a bear… I just awwwwww.

Your girls look overwhelmed at all the options.

Wow, I didn’t know they had one in Ottawa. My eldest did one years ago in Florida and talked about it forever till we went back with her little sister to do one with her. Those bears are still prominently displayed in their rooms.

Great bday party option!

My grand daughter has Husky.
I would like to buy an accessory for Husky as a Christmas gift.
Is there a store in Ottawa or where might I make a purchase?
I would appreciate hearoing from you as soon as possible.

Hello Phyllis –

The husky (and everything else) came from the build-a-bear store at Bayshore shopping centre.

Good luck,

andrea
