The Mom Show comes to Ottawa

A few weeks ago I was contacted by someone from the Mom Show. The Mom Show was coming to Ottawa, and would I like to be in the studio audience?

Well, first of all, I wasn’t sure what show we were talking about, but there it was, listed on the Slice Network website, so it must be legit. :)

Sarah and I went to see the taping this morning while Emma stayed with a friend. It was kinda fun. We walked away with a couple gift bags (which contained diapers among other things… ) and an appreciation for what it takes to put on a show. Sadly for me, I blew an opportunity to introduce myself to someone I really wanted to meet…  the editor of Canadian Family magazine.

But Sarah was happy. It was a fun kind of outing, and she snagged a chocolate croissant out of the deal.

Now I’m just in a TGIF state of mind. You?

I was supposed to go and couldn’t at the last minute :(

haven’t seen the mom show yet but have watched Catherine on the Rogers show and knowing her personally, am sure she’s doing a fantastic job here too :)

I just finished watching your Ottawa show and was a bit disappointed in the winner of the new products segment. I guess your judges have not heard of Weekenders Fashions – a home party base that has exactly the same idea as the one they chose to win. Weekender has been around for years and I have been to numerous parties. I personally thought the baby towel was a much better idea. Thank you. Enjoy the show very much. Clara De Paolo
