Best. Checkers. Ever.

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Oh! Things!

I adore this checker set !

“Friendly little villagers are the playing pieces for this beautifully crafted board. Hand-painted and constructed in Russia, all the pieces fit inside the folded game board for easy storage.” Awww!

Honestly, with all of this made-in-china crap going around, I am sorely tempted to sweep everything into the garbage and begin anew with things like this.

I was excited to see a site with well-made stuff for kids but I was really disappointed that almost every category was gendered.
