I love mail!

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Misc. life

I spotted the package sticking out of the mailbox as I trudged home from a late workout at the gym.

Please oh please oh please let it be something fun for me.

(Yes, I’m selfish like that.)

When I saw Ms. Porter‘s name in the return address I grinned, and suddenly I knew what it was. She sent me a copy of October, by Richard B. Wright.  Woot!

Her timing was perfect, because I have been desperate for something new to read.

And I almost almost missed it, but she sent me a little fishy game piece for our collection as well. So sweet.

Thank you Porter, you made my day!

I never saw this post until tonight….I googled porters ponderings just to see what would come up and lookie….odd that I missed it! You are so welcome. I didn’t know whether or not you got the fishy game piece, I know it isn’t vintage but it came from my girl’s ‘Gone Fishing’ game…they’ve lost some pieces (broken or just MIA) so I decided to put one in your package. Glad you got it. oxo
