Last night we played Bataclan. Sarah mostly likes stacking the dice.
There was a cold season survivial guide published in the Saturday Ottawa Citizen. It had a few interesing tidbits, and it reminded me that I wanted to try garlic supplements. I was at the Superstore on Sunday morning and decided to pick some up. They’ve done studies that show garlic has amazing immune boosting properties. Just what I need! Sadly, I’ve been burping garlic ever since. That’s not what I need.
The whole family is sick. We all have a cold. Happily, Emma didn’t throw up after her episode yesterday. In fact, she was her old self in no time. Kids are amazing that way.
I couldn’t wait for them to get to bed last night. I was so exhausted. Mark and I have been camping out in front of the TV, watching the first season of Heroes on DVD. Gawd I love that show.
I spent the whole night coughing my head off. It’s a horrible, dry, hacking cough. I sound like a Great Dane in a train tunnel. I woke up this morning, packed the girls lunches, and went back to bed only to wake up in time to run to the hair salon for a long overdue trim & colour. I got bangs, which is something new for me.
Okay. I have got to stop rambling. Back to work. But first, I am heading upstairs for a serious gargle.
