I LOVE being snowed in – it hardly ever happens down here in T.O. but I remember we’d usually get a good 6-7 days off school where I grew up in the Ottawa Valley. Think of all the people in the country who aren’t on the municipal sewer system. If you have a well, that’s right – your toilets do not flush when the power goes out!

We’ve rented movies and are all prepared for the snow.
Looking forward to a day tucked in nice and warm at home. Quality family time!

I’m enjoying this weekend so much. I don’t even like to bake but I did, we baked gingerbread men and decorated them…I’m still in my pjs, we’ve played in the snow. Such a calm and fun weekend.
