Have you eaten at John’s Quick Lunch lately?

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Ottawa|Recipes and Food

Unless someone makes a recommendation, John’s might be dropped from the newest version of CheapEats Ottawa…  which is mere seconds away from a big print run. Ack!

John’s is a landmark – an Ottawa institution –  and we can’t let it go!

So, if you’re able, please tell us:

1) why you like this place and
2) what you ordered

… and your comment might get published too!

I haven’t eaten there lately, but I have recommended it to others as the BEST place I’ve found to get a hot turkey sandwich. Turkey sandwiches are my comfort food (event leading up to turkey season, also known as Christmas). The staff is fun and friendly and treats customers well. The prices are reasonable. I’m not sure if this would qualify as a CheapEats recommendation, but I hope John’s Quick Lunch does get included in the new edition of CheapEats Ottawa.
