Ottawa Weekend of White: AKA winterblizzard 2008

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Ottawa|Photography

And may I add that this Daylight Savings business might just be The Very Thing That Pushes Me Over the Edge?

Now for some pics.

I like to call this one, “Kids don’t care as long as they don’t have to shovel anything”:

 Day 27: Kids love snow.

This one is called: “My in-laws had a pool. Once.”

Somewhere there is a pool under here

This one is called “They just got back from Myrtle Beach. And here’s Mark, doing their driveway for the 27th time.”

Mark snowblowing his mom and dad's driveway

And last but not least, this photo is called “Here are a few of my favourite things.” Alternately titled: “Reading in front of the fire is Good.”

these are a few of my favourite things

(Got photos from the weekend of white? Share ’em!)

I think you in Ottawa put us in SW Ontario to shame, but I have some posted, too.

12 degrees and sunny on both Saturday and Sunday in Cape Breton. Our kids rode their bikes!

Hmm hmm.

I uploaded some yesterday! I meant to bring my camera when I went to my Mom’s today as their snowbank as well as the single lane streets around here are something to see. And to think people are parking their cars on the street, where there is barely enough room to pass a car as it is.
