…nothing.

There is nothing better than watching her play, completely immersed in what she’s doing, living as if nobody else in the world is watching.

…take them outside. It is amazing how much fun stuff you can find to do outside! You don’t need to plan anything, and no toys are required. We have enough snails, birds and worms in our back yard to keep Liam entertained all day, and Mallory is good to go with a handful of mulch and a puddle of water. :)

snuggling first thing in the morning in my bed. As infants, I used to bring the girls into bed with me to nurse first thing in the morning and we would both drift back to sleep together. As they got older they came into bed to snuggle and this has never changed…I love it!

– go see something NEW and see what they have to say about it (ie, the gigantic newborn at the art museum)

Snuggling in the morning and before bed. Every morning we spend at least ten minutes in either his bed/our bed/the couch snuggling and talking before we start the day.

Neither of us can start the day without it.

I’ll say “read” – anywhere and any time – but snuggling in bed, in the morning or at night, is pretty great, too.

seems like snuggling in bed first thing in the morning is a winner. My little guy is only one, and I love having in bed before heading to work, snuggled in the crook of my arm, nodding off to sleep and snoring. It does make it very hard to go to work though.
