How fun! We’re doing game night Friday night (along with home made pizza, but that’s a normal Friday night thing). Tonight we baked gingerbread men. My house smells lovely!

O! I’m not sure I put a game night in ours. I may be to do a switch-a-roo. We did “share with your neighbors” I sacked up cookies and goodies today that we’d made and printed out a little card and we all walked around to our neighboring houses and gave them away. I acutally got some “apple butter” out of it. This is SO awesome! Tomorrow night we are making gifts for each other. So, I’ve got to find a cool craft for the 6 year old, something the 3 year old can do and probably finger paint for the 18 month old. Any suggestion?

Hmmm.
Paper chains are easy to make. If you have some cool paper you can make them a little more interesting than the traditional red and green kind. (Check out this one.)

Or what if you carved some simple some potato stamps and made your own Christmas wrapping paper? Even the 18 m.o. could get into that one!

I love your advent idea and we’re doing it, too! But my daughter is only 13 months so some of the activities are just for the grown-ups (hopefully she’ll fall asleep on Friday and let us have our fondue dinner).
