Have I ever shown you…

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Oh! Things!

… my Charlie’s Angels trading cards? I just dug these out of the basement.

I like how so many of the (bilingual!) captions are followed by exclamation marks (!):

Beautiful Sleuth!

A satisfied sleuth!

Charlie's Newest Angel!

And how is it that they managed to maintain such perfect hair while fighting crime?

Kelly and Kris

And this was my favourite card of all:

Kris in the tropics!

I also have an entire collection of E.T. cards. But I don’t think those are worth scanning. :)

When I was a kid, I had a whole bunch of these, too. I remember that when you flipped them over, they each had a very small part of a large picture of the three of them — like a puzzle that made a poster. Cooooool.

I wonder whatever happened to them. I’m quite jealous you still have yours!

Awesome! I love Charlies’ Newest Angel. Who new that he recruited from the Moulin Rouge?!

It’s so great that you hung onto these. I still have my photo album with my 1984 sticker collection in it with all the scratch n sniffs, smurfs, puffy stickers and, a giant ET sticker. So much fun to browse through.

I adore those cards!!! So retro-i am all about stuff like that!!!!! We should get together like in that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry dates a girl and they drug her so they can play with all her retro toys! I’ll bring my knit magic and the entire smurf village, some play mobile AND some old Nancy Drew……..thanks for the memories….:)

I had those too! Wasn’t it the worst opening a new pack and getting a double or triple of one you already had?

I will give you $10,000 for them! :-) I had HUGE crushes on Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd.

Pete: I had no idea they were worth that much!! ;0 (I should clarify that these aren’t all of my C.A. cards. Just a select few.)

Shan: I didn’t mind getting doubles. Those are easier to trade!

Any Farrah cards? I LOVED those. I used to stick them up on the walls of my bedroom. My girlfriends and I used to “play” Charlie’s Angels in grade two, ahhh the memories……

Ages ago when I worked at CJOH I heard that Werner Klemperer (played Col. Klink on the old Hogan’s Heroes sitcom) was going to be a guest on one of the shows the following day. I got my brother to dig out his old Hogan’s Heroes trading cards and I brought in a couple with Klemperer’s picture on them for him to autograph. I wonder how much they would fetch on eBay…?
