Was spent here:

A quiet corner at the Carlingwood branch

and here:

Lunch at Merivale Fish Market

and doing this:

Sarah reads her Chickadee

and baking (and eating) this:

Cakelet
And now I will take a bow, exit stage left, and fall asleep on the couch.

You’re allowed coffee in the library? And you drink Tim Horton’s coffee? I would have never thought. Did you win when you rolled up the rim? Timmy’s is my addiction.

Looks like you guys had a good time. Our break was good too. Mornings were very civilized and the afternoons were a nice break (The Pea is in gymnastics camp and The Peach naps).

lol – thanks plastikgyrl.

Veg: I don’t know if we’re allowed coffee in the library. I just assumed I could bring it and didn’t check!

I drink Tim’s when there’s a need, and sadly, no, the cup was not a winner.

Jake went to a friend’s house, then I picked them up and took them to a movie. :) It was fun!

Mmmm…the cake looks delish.

I want to know where you go those fish and chips too – I’m looking for a good place in the neighbourhood. I love Pelican Grill but it is too far . . .

The chips look delicious, and I’m a very picky chip eater!

The fish and chips were from Merivale Fish Market (1480 Merivale Road). Do note, there’s no kids menu, so we order a two-piece for the girls and they share it.

As for the shoes, I bought them online years ago. I can’t even remember where!
