Worked all day.
Sore feet.

Quiet night.
Woke to potty accident.
Back to bed.
No coffee left, didn’t know.
Cried.
Had ‘words’ with the one in charge of coffee.
Read cards.
Cried.
Not the best start to Mother’s day.

My do-over?

Took the toddler out for coffee/steamed milk.
Bought new nail polish.
Bought groceries for dinner.
Watered some plants.
Made some salad.
Cleaned the house.
Toddler took an extra long nap.
Made amends.
Had family here for dinner.
Laughed at my girl.
Watched chick flicks until midnight.
Had a long talk.
Didn’t go to bed angry.
