Remember the Hellman’s-sponsored confab I went to in Toronto back in May?
To summarize: some bloggers were flown in from across Canada to talk about eating seasonally and to get an advance preview of Hellman’s new Eat Real Eat Local campaign. As part of that campaign, Hellman’s pledged to give a quarter to Evergreen (to a maximum of $25,000) each time someone tags their online interactions (e.g. a Tweet, blog post, even a blog comment!) with the term “#realfood.“
For today only (July 29), Hellmann’s is increasing the donation made to Evergreen to one dollar each time the #realfood tag is used.
Can we raise some extra bucks for Evergreen? Just because they’re awesome?
Just to make it interesting, tell me what kind of seasonal vegetable you’re enjoying right now. (And don’t forget to mention #realfood!)
Me: We went to the local farmer’s market on Sunday and bought heritage carrots (knobbly and incredibly sweet!), local peas, and local honey. We were going to buy some local beef too, but they were all sold out. Boo. But everything tasted so good. Like how real food is supposed to taste.
Over to you!
