This morning I heard this coming from the living room: “Mummy, come watch the polite squirrels!” Here’s what we watched. It’s a classic Looney Tunes cartoon, one which I probably watched a hundred times when I was kid.
After much Googling I realized the critters I long thought were chipmunks are actually supposed to be gophers, and their names are Mac ‘n Tosh (!). Who knew?
(As a sidebar, it’s interesting to note that the TV version we watched had the “gasoline” segment edited out.)

Sigh. I love the Looney Tunes. It always brings back memories of my grandparents. It was on at 5pm on Saturdays or Sundays, maybe? I’d always sit and watch it with my Poppa while Nana made dinner. He loved it :)
