Welcome to our newest patron: Movement to Health

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Fishbowl patrons

Onward and upward. Thank you everyone.

I’d like to take a moment to welcome a new patron here at the Fishbowl: Movement to Health.

I’ve been chatting with Donna Davis, the founder of MTH, for a while now. She is deeply passionate about healthy living. She’s vegan, and an athlete, and a certified yoga instructor. Her goal is to educate, to empower, and to inspire, which she does in spades. You can read more about Donna here.

MTH specializes in a holistic approach to health and fitness. They offer workshops on running, yoga, nutrition, and lifestyle skills to enhance health and vitality. Check out their powerful woman boot camp, and their running classes. (I never thought I’d be interested in learning how to run, like for REAL, in a focused way that does not include chasing children around a park. But here I am, perusing the beginner runner descriptions. Hmm.)

Anyway, thank you MTH!

I would like to take a moment to thank all my patrons for their ongoing support and sponsorship. Without them I’d be paying out of pocket for the ever-increasing cost of hosting and bandwidth. Their support makes it easier for me to do the things I do here.

Fishbowl readers: You can show your appreciation for the sponsorship of my blog patrons by clicking on the ads in the sidebar and perusing their websites. This quick click is a hello and a thank you and an “I support you too” all rolled into one.

Thank you!

Movement to Health was a supporter of our Ride for Heart spinathon as well! In fact, Monja De Luca, who organizes the event with me, works with this organization, she leads one or two of their classes! She is amazing, if you have her as an instructor you will love her! You should totally try one of their classes, I’m sure it would be great!

I did the learn to run course through MTH last spring and can say it was amazing. I never thought my post-baby body would be able to run a 5k (I know it’s a simple goal for some but for me it was big) but with Donna’s course I was able to do just that. She’s wonderful and inspiring and she even makes us less fit women feel like we too can run. If you’re considering one of her class- go sign up now. You won’t regret it.
