a peek inside the fishbowl

It began on the bus (kids LOVE taking the bus – at least mine do):

We went to daddy’s work and got the big tour:

And took him out to lunch:

And then we pretended we were tourists and took in the views around us. (There is much to admire.):

And then went to see something most tourists don’t see. Did you know we have a cat house on Parliament Hill? It’s a matter of civic pride:

Then we made our way down Sparks Street, wondering what it would look like if it was in Montreal or Quebec City instead of Ottawa:

Then we hopped back on the bus, swung by Bridgehead to grab me a coffee on the way home, and ate a special treat we picked up in the Byward Market:

After dinner we scootered and strolled over to Maplelawn, just to see what was growing (hint: a lot!):

All in all, a very good day indeed.
