The puppy update

Piper

She’s even cuter when she’s asleep.

I am not getting a lot of work done around here.

Daytime crate training is going to be a slow process.

Who designs a kitchen carpet that can’t be thrown in the laundry? More importantly, who buys one?

She snuck away with three of my dishtowels yesterday. I have no place to hang dishtowels.

I took a very rushed two-minute shower yesterday, which reminded me of The Baby Years.

We were up with her at 2:00 and 6:00 this morning. I feel like a zombie.

She doesn’t really like the rain. Or maybe she hasn’t seen water fall from the sky.

We had to carry her home from our walk to school this morning.

She is good about getting a paw wash.

She REALLY liked the smell of my breath after I ate that cheese last night.

She is so cute! I have never paid attention to that breed before but she’s so lovely and her full grown size is just about perfect in my opinion.

I haven’t lived through the puppy stage but I’ve heard it can be a challenge, but just like babies it’s all going to be worthwhile in the end!!! Enjoy it while it lasts.

Do not, under any circumstance, feed the cheese to the dog. Not unless you happen to have gas masks handy, anyway. I don’t know what happens to cheese when it passes through a dog’s digestive system, but it is Not. Pleasant.

(She is really cute, tho! Glad to hear you’re having fun.)

No dogs or cats for us. Too high maintenance.
