My blog is:

  • a family scrapbook
  • a whiteboard
  • a journal
  • a soapbox
  • a point of view
  • my own space
  • is something I’m compelled to do – and keep up – and there is no end in sight!
  • a virtual back fence and water cooler (both metaphors fit quite nicely!)
  • a place I go to empty my head
  • has brought me joy and frustration (but much more joy)
  • is making money
  • has resulted in paying work
  • has been the catalyst for making many new friends, both online and offline
  • has resulted in many amazing opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise

It is all this and more. It’s been an interesting journey. And I never thought this little website of mine would have brought me so much. I certainly never thought I’d see the day when I’d find myself even considering the idea of jetting away to a blogging conference. But I am. I’m going to BlogHer ’10. (!)

I am really really excited to be looking forward to the future.

Thank you Fishbowl readers, for your comments and your ongoing support and friendship. I wouldn’t be here without you!
