My blog is:
- a family scrapbook
- a whiteboard
- a journal
- a soapbox
- a point of view
- my own space
- is something I’m compelled to do – and keep up – and there is no end in sight!
- a virtual back fence and water cooler (both metaphors fit quite nicely!)
- a place I go to empty my head
- has brought me joy and frustration (but much more joy)
- is making money
- has resulted in paying work
- has been the catalyst for making many new friends, both online and offline
- has resulted in many amazing opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise
It is all this and more. It’s been an interesting journey. And I never thought this little website of mine would have brought me so much. I certainly never thought I’d see the day when I’d find myself even considering the idea of jetting away to a blogging conference. But I am. I’m going to BlogHer ’10. (!)
I am really really excited to be looking forward to the future.
