We went to the Richmond Fair. On teen night!

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Ottawa

Man, did I ever feel like an old lady… trapped in a sea of surging hormones, blaring music, droopy pants, tight jeans, cigarettes, eyeliner, and peacock-like posturing. Actually, come to think of it, I didn’t feel like an old lady at all, I felt like Jane Goodall.

We like the fair. We go there for the mini-beignets, the agricultural displays, and of course, the rides. But most of all we like it because the girls love it. (Also, it’s all very photogenic.)

Great pictures. Our family loves the fair. Actually we are involved up to our eyeballs with our local fair. Ours is next week, so things are busy busy busy around here. The displays are my favourite part.

@amwaters, we didn’t! I wanted to but it was so crowded we couldn’t see!

Thank you Shan! We love the fair. Next year I want to spend more time there during the day to take in the displays. It’s the best part! Other than the donuts. :)
