On the Monday after a lost weekend

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Misc. life|Publishing/writing/career stuff

It’s day four at home with a feverish and flu-ridden kid. My to-do list is getting longer and I’m starting to get a little squirrely.

Thankfully, there’s this:

Ear scritching

How can I be stressed when there’s someone willing to get a good ear scritching?

And in other news, I was picking up emergency supplies at the grocery store on Saturday and spotted an article I wrote on the cover of Our Homes Ottawa. It’s a profile of a really gorgeous home in Rockcliffe, a home with a history! You can read it here.

Now. Cross your fingers that I don’t get sick next! Gah.

I also saw your article in the Ottawa magazine interiors issued with Sunday’s Ottawa Citizen. You did a fantastic job at sharing the home design as well as the personality of the owner. Great article!

I don’t mind the winter weather but I HATE cold and flu season. Last weekend it was ds1, this weekend ds2. As exhausted as I am there’s only so much time a mama can spend in her house :)
