Would you like a pair of tickets to Canada Blooms?

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Giveaways and product reviews

I have a quickie giveaway for Toronto area folks! My friends at Rethink Tires have given me a pair of tickets to Canada Blooms to give away to one Fishbowl reader.

Did you know Canada Blooms is the largest flower and garden show in Canada? I’ve always wanted to go but have never had the opportunity. But YOU do!

Throw your hat in the ring by leaving a comment below. Just for fun, I’d love to know what kind of thing interests you the most about garden shows. Landscaping ideas? Learning from the experts? Floral design? Learning about new cultivars? Or maybe you just want a taste of spring? :)

Interested? Please read the following before entering:

  • This giveaway is for a pair of tickets to Canada Blooms (March 10-19) and will be awarded to one winner. Please make sure you can attend before entering.
  • One entry per email address, please!
  • This giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
  • If you can’t post your comment for whatever reason you can email it to me for posting at andrea at quietfish dot com. Please note, I cannot be responsible if your entry is misdirected or gets stuck in my Spam folder.

I will draw one name using Random.org at noon EST on Friday March 10, 2017. I’ll contact the winner via email, who can pick up the tickets at the “will call” desk at Canada Blooms.

If you’re attending Canada Blooms, be sure to visit the Rethink tires booth for some earth-friendly ideas, especially if you are looking to renovate your front or back yard this spring

This year, I’m hunting for more ideas on native Ontario flowers for my garden.

This would be fun! I went only once in the last 5 years, and have been thinking about going this year only because we have to completely redo our front and backyard this year.

Probably the best memory I have is the vivid colours of all the plants and flowers the Canada Blooms show exhibits! It sure gets those gardening juices flowing. We brought home helpful tips for landscaping last time, this time we would be venturing out for more edible garden ideas.

Consider this my hat in the ring! Would love to go to the show.

Thank you!

Hello!
This year I’d bring my mom on her 74th birthday (March 15) and we’d breathe in new ideas for our flower and veg gardens, and for the perennial beds around her new house. Happy Birthday Mom!

My oldest sister loves flowers; the Canada Blooms show is her happy place. On a trip to the Netherlands she bought fresh tulips to put in our hotel room every day – just because…TULIPS!
