Join me for an informative event at terra20 with Alain Menard of Green Beaver

When the folks at terra20* first told me that Alain Menard, co-founder of the Green Beaver Company was going to be speaking at terra20 I did a little bit of Googling. Of course, I know Green Beaver very well. Green Beaver is a Canadian company, founded by Karen Clark and Alain, and they make safe alternatives to common personal care products, many of which are available at terra20, but there’s a lot more to the story.

Fun fact: Karen was a biochemist with experience in the pesticide industry and Alain was a microbiologist working for the pharmaceutical industry when they first met. Green Beaver was born in 2001, the same year as their son Joshua. Their first products were fluoride-free toothpaste and the aluminum-free deodorant and their line up has expanded by leaps and bounds ever since. It’s a really great success story, one that’s born out of a clear passion. (Want to read a bit more? Check out this a fun Q&A style interview with Alain right here.)

This free seminar is taking place at the Pinecrest location of terra20 on June 15 and Alain is the main attraction. I’ve already signed up, but I wanted to extend the invitation to Fishbowl readers. Here’s the e-vite! The Green Beaver story is a really interesting one, and I am really looking forward to hearing about Alain’s experience and learning something from him too. I hope you’ll join me!

*terra20 is a Fishbowl patron, but my interest and excitement about this event are my own. :)
