The other day I did something that I used to do all the time: climb into the bathtub with Sarah.
Sarah was already in. She watched as I slowly eased myself into the water, and just as I did so she shouted: TIDE’S COMING IN!

I always bath with the girls, it started out when they were literally days old…but as time goes by and they get older I wonder how much longer?

On a related note, Josie looked at me as I was flat on my back, and asked “Where did your breasts go?!” which led to a discussion about the various forms they can take (my wonderbreasts!) Then, she asked to look at my nipples, and said sadly “They’re MUCH smaller than I remember.” I had to point out that it’s been about two years since she’d been so intimately acquainted with them, and SHE”S much bigger.

That comment ranks right up there with my 3.5yr old daughter exclaiming while she was sitting on my lap, “Mummy I can sit on your tummy like a pillow!”
Ah children!!
