Be a hero, for CHEO!

CHEO

The annual CHEO Telethon is taking place June 6 and 7. It’s their single biggest fundraiser of the year – and they really need our help.

Every year the CHEO Telethon is dedicated to honouring our bravest superheroes. At CHEO, superheroes fight some of the world’s scariest foes—enemies like cancer, failing organs and brain injuries. While kids are the true heroes, they rely on CHEO and the community to be their sidekicks and help restore them back to super-strength. Leading up to and during the telethon, CHEO is hoping to build momentum through social media. They’ve secured a corporate donation of $10,000 from TD Bank … but ONLY if they achieve 10,000 interactions on social media. This is where you fit in!

  • On June 5 dress up as your favourite superhero (or a newly invented one) – anything goes! It could be as simple as a bed sheet tied around your shoulders, or you could go all out.
  • Using #hero4cheo – tweet your #SuperSelfie to @CHEOhospital, or post on Facebook encouraging others to do the same.
  • Tweet/post about CHEO Telethon to help get that $10,000 donation from TD Bank.
  • Use our Supe-Yourself app (www.hero4cheo.com) to create your very own superhero avatar and share it on Facebook/Twitter using #hero4cheo

Your participation will be a tremendous boost to the campaign! Now, where’s my Superwoman costume? ;)
