Spicy jalapeno drizzle sauce

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Recipes and Food

I was at the grocery store and I spotted a pack of peppers on one of those “take it right now” discount racks in the produce department. Normally, I give this area a pass, but it WAS a pretty package of peppers and was only 99 cents. I fished my phone out of my purse and did a search for a recipe that would use up a whole whack of peppers (a peck of peppers, perhaps?).

Bowl o' jalpeno peppers

This recipe for Creamy Jalapeno Sauce came up. I made it a couple of days later and then proceeded to drizzle it on almost everything I ate. It was The Perfect Thing, and was especially good on salads and tacos. I also may have dipped a tortilla chip or two in there. Or four or ten.

Spicy green "sauce" to drizzle on everything

So if you have a peck of peppers lying around and like a spicy kick, you should totally give this a try.
