I’d love to hear your thoughts on Bee Time: Lessons from the Hive. It’s on my reading list for this year.

I recently read The History of Bees by Maja Lunde (fiction) and it created a desire in me to learn more. I didn’t fully understand the impact of bees on the entire food chain until now, and it’s fascinating.

I’m enjoying it so far! I agree, it is fascinating, and also scary to hear how bee populations are declining. I’ve always been interested in bees and have secretly wanted to have a hive of my own. Unfortunately, that’s a no-go where we live. :(

… that being said, this book has inspired me to create a more bee-friendly habitat in our backyard. They need all the help they can get.
