Flattery will get you everywhere

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Misc. life

Two things:

It seems I have been nominated for Best Personal Blog over at the Canadian Blog Awards website. (Check out the list of nominees here.)

I am tickled. And I have no idea who nominated me. But whoeverCanadian Blog Awards you are, thank you. It’s clear you know how much I like to be flattered. And this is very flattering, especially given the other names on the list. So yes, thank you!

Here’s how the CBA works. It’s not a done deal. You dear readers, need to go and cast your vote. Round 1 voting opens on Wednesday November 15, 2006 and closes Tuesday November 21, 2006. Truly, it is an honour just to be nominated, and this is the last I will say about the matter. :)

ALSO:

The ever so lovely and charming Chantal nominated my post:  A note from Ms. Tooty Mcfartypants for the October ROFL award. Thank you Chantal! I’m pleased that stories about my family’s noxious gasses are hitting the big time.

The award is hosted by Mommy off the Record and IzzyMom. Check their sites on the 14th for a full list of funny stuff.
