Watching:

Posted by andrea tomkins in: My media (sideblog archive)

You can’t make this stuff up. In fact, it’s nearly impossible to believe this is NOT a Saturday Night Live sketch. Conservative media attack Obama for burger order. This stuff makes me crazy.

I swear my jaw dropped when I heard about this. So many things going on in the world to be concerned about and that’s what gets their shirts in a knot? Ridiculous.

I lived in Virginia around the time of 9-11, and there was a hatred on for France – can’t even remember why… anyways, everything was being renamed to Freedom Fries, Freedom toast… really unbelievable how they can become so deeply angry and resentful of anyone that does anything un-american.
The best thing about Canada, is that I’ve never been called un-canadian.

In this case it’s just the conservative media trying to make Obama out as an intelectual snob who likes “uppity” things like fancy mustard on his burger.

I like Dijon on my burger too. AND horseradish!
