a peek inside the fishbowl

Phew.

Posted by andrea in: Misc. life

Leanne Cusack, Dan the cameraman, Dani and Robyn have come and gone.

It’s over! And I am very pleased to report that our television appearance went well, despite the fact that my palms were the sweatiest they have ever been.

I am relieved that none of my fears were realized. Sarah didn’t walk into the shot wearing my underwear on her head. Nor did I sneeze or faint or spontaneously combust. But I did come close to near disaster! I realized (too late) that the shirt I was wearing has a tendency to pop open. Much to my shagrin it did just that. And I inadvertently flashed Leanne and Dan. Thankfully, the camera was not rolling. Now THAT would have been good TV! Woo hooo!!

(Who was it that advised us to wear a good bra? Well mine was too good.)

Digital video of our chat is coming soon, and will hopefully be posted here tonight. We can all watch it and do some play-by-play commentary. You’ll get to hear me say “bob’s your uncle.” Man, I am still slapping myself in the forehead for that one. Did I really say BOB’S YOUR UNCLE? Yes. Unfortunately it’s true. I did say that.

I wanted to take a moment to say thanks to my co-interviewees. You both sounded so smart! You gals are so together! I’m glad you came out today.

Mwah!
