- The cake is planned, but not made
- Mark called store A to have a pair of rollerblades set aside, but I ended up at store B by mistake (“Do you have rollerblades put aside for me? No? Is there someone named Alan here? No? Okaaaay.”) and left the salespeople thinking I am a total nutcase after I called Mark to confirm that I am indeed a total nutcase.
- Rollerblades were purchased elsewhere
- Other gifts have been bought, but not wrapped
- I had a near nervous breakdown re: the loot bags that aren’t really loot bags.
- Not everyone has RSVP’d, but how can I blame them? The invites were terribly late.
- Groceries remain to be purchased
- Decorations need to be hung
- Helium balloons have been purchased, and made for a challenging drive home
