Five Things in My Fridge
1. 1% Milk. Some people poohpooh our choice of dairy beverage. YOUR KIDS NEED THE FAT, they say. Uhhuh, but I don’t. They eat cheese, butter, and lots of yogurt… please don’t imply I’m abusing my kids by making them drink 1%. (sorry, meme’s aren’t for ranting, are they? :)
2. Newly rediscovered Bailey’s Irish Cream – found just in time for America’s Top Model the other night. It’s important to imbibe while watching this program.
3. Tropicana apple juice (once you try it you will never go back to the canned stuff)
4. Cheeses (Sarah likes to pick out a new one to try whenever we visit Farm Boy.)
5. Red peppers (the girls eat vast quantities of the stuff. And who am I to stop them?)

Five Things in My Closet
1. A blonde Farah Fawcett style wig
2. Three milk-crates, stacked to hold folded pants.
3. Neatly folded sweaters
4. a pile of dirty laundry
5. a sweet vintage 1940s-style purse that hasn’t seen daylight

Five Things in My Purse
1. A small spiral-bound notebook with red suede cover. I can’t go anywhere without it.
2. Lipgloss
3. Wallet – much-adored, bought with birthday money from Mary a couple years ago
4. A red life-saver lollipop
5. Two stir sticks from the Parisian in Las Vegas

Five Things in My CarI never have the car during the day? I hardly call it mine! :)
1. Car seats (restraining devices for children)
2. Bungee cords (restraining devices for children objects jutting out of the trunk … also indispensable when camping.
3. CDs that haven’t been changed for about a year (I love Green Day, but really, it’s time for something new)
4. Those purple grocery bins from Loblaws (ok, those are in the trunk, does that count?)
5. Gift certificates from Tim Horton’s, for when I’m caught penniless in a coffee emergency.

Reading this? Haven’t done it yet? Consider yourself tagged. :)
